It's a great comfort to know that many of you have reached out to us to assure our safety. We are fine. Thank God. Shortly after the news of Japan's massive earthquake was announced our ship's captain alerted us to possible "unusual waves" that could hit Manila, where we are currently docked. Fortunately we felt nothing and no damage was done. I am, however, concerned for our safety as we continue to sail along the western edge, deeper into the heart of the Ring of Fire and onto the Middle East. I pray for those who strive to cope with this tragedy whose devastation, it pains me, is still unfolding.
