Melbourne, Australia

February 20 & 21, 2011

Sailing into Melbourne, Australia's second most populous city after Sydney, it was great to see this "cultural capital"

Melbourne, loaded with lovely beaches, music venues, restaurants and vibrant cafe lifestyle

The second day we explored the striking beauty of deep, fern-covered valleys and magnificent eucalyptus forests during a railway ride on Puffing-Bully, a vintage, narrow-gauge steam train more than 100 years old

A two course lunch and wine tasting at Rochford Winery

The day concludes with a visit to the Healesville Wildlife Sanctuary to get more acquainted with uniquely Australian animals, including the dingo and Tasmanian devil that inhabit the bush-like surroundings
